Dreaming

I like to dream, but I don't think I do it too often. Or maybe I do, and just don't remember. My dreams are usually very fluid. Most of the time, the characters end up morphing into other people by the end of the dream. A person starting out as Michael Jackson could end up being some random person that I know that looks nothing like him.

Also, in my dreams, when I'm trying to do anything manual, I can't do it---especially if I need to write something. I find myself sometimes trying desperately to form my name on paper and no matter how hard I try to concentrate I have to keep starting over.

Unless the dream has a distinct plot, I usually just remember flashes of different scenes.

Scene 1: I was being chased by someone. I ran down a staircase in a house to get away and when the person caught me, he used a knife to slash an "X" between my forefinger and thumb. I remember the phrase " X marks the human." There is someone in the news with the last name Hubin? Hubban? that I heard about in the background television noise, so I know where that came from. (That's another thing...sometimes my dreams follow along with whatever is happening on the TV).

Scene 2: I was talking with an old elementary school classmate. That's it.

Scene 3: I was trying to drive a car. Like anything that requires coordination, this proved difficult, so I was having a hard time controlling the car. I remember making a right turn and practically hitting a vehicle leaving that street.

So I don't think last night's dreams were cohesive enough for me to make draw any conclusions.
